As part of our Moving for Life – The Way I Like It project, AMCS has partnered up with Maribyrnong Aquatic Centre to provide a range of free fitness activities for seniors aged 65 years and over.
These activities are designed to be fun, safe and engaging in order to increase physical activity in the senior population- there is bound to be something for everyone!
Programs start from Monday 3rd June, and the class schedules can be found in the links to the flyers below.
The activities currently on offer at the Maribyrnong Aquatic Centre include:
Aqua classes which are gentle water-based exercises
Strength classes that help to keep muscles strong
Walking classes to build up stamina
