Another group trip to remember as clients spent the day in Ballarat to see impressive sights of Lake Wendouree and the bursting colours of the Ballarat Botanical Gardens.

After leaving AMCS at 9:30am the group of twenty clients set off on a road trip to Ballarat, enjoying some light refreshment aboard the coach and the excited atmosphere as they headed towards the historic town.

The first stop was at Lake Wendouree which has been viewed by countless visitors for over 150 years, although the scenery never gets old when you see the lake stretch as far as the eye can see.

The group then arrived at the Ballarat Botanical Gardens to see dashes of colour despite us nearing the season of winter. There were also marble statues to admire as the group walked throughout the garden conservatories.

One client shared their thoughts, ‘The views and scenery, flowers, absolutely beautiful.’

This was followed by a meal with dessert at the Blue Bell Hotel, where everyone was glad to dig in after the whole day of sightseeing.

On the ride home the group also went past Sovereign Hill, where Jim the driver had interesting facts to share about the history of the town and the goldfields. This brought on a wave of questions from our clients about the amount of gold that would have been mined over the years.
