An exciting opportunity has opened up at AMCS due to growth in our Home Care Package Program. This is a great opportunity to enter the aged care space and to know that your contribution is improving the lives of the many seniors that use our services.

The main focus of the position is to provide day-to-day rostering and administration for our AMCS Home Care Packages Program.


₋              Provide leadership, team management and development to the rostering team

–              Attend to incoming calls from support workers and clients with scheduling and service related enquiries

–              Action all service requests in a timely manner

–              Prepare and distribute fortnightly rosters to support workers efficiently

–              Attend to feedback and reports from support workers in relation to clients

–              Undertake support workers time sheet reconciliation

–              Monitor relevant support workers registers

–              Coordinate support workers bi Monthly meeting and training

–              Ordering of supplies

–              Advise clients and carers in a timely manner of changes to care and service delivery

–              Monitor Support Workers recruitment and participate in induction

–              On call allocation as per the team roster

–              Maintain filing of documentation and general admin tasks

–              Other duties as delegated by the Team Leader and the Manager of Aged Services, which may also relate to general organisational demand



–              Experience in scheduling and rostering is essential

–              Experience in leadership, team management

–              Excellent organizational and time management skills

–              Excellent customer service

–              Excellent verbal and written communication skills

–              Ability to work in a dynamic and busy environment

–              An eye for detail, thoroughness in completing tasks

–              Ability to work independently and in a team

–              Flexibility in handling multiple tasks

–              Ability to communicate effectively with Management, Care Advisors, Support Workers, Service providers and Clients

–              Valid police check

–              Second language
