AMCS volunteers are taking part in a research run by NARI titled “How to acknowledge and promote the contribution of older people from CALD communities” (funded by Scanlon Foundation)

Details about this research

Aim: The project intends to document, acknowledge and promote the contribution of older people from CALD backgrounds to the community.

Background: Older people from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) backgrounds are important contributors to the community. They often take a leadership role within their groups, promoting social cohesion and support to their older peers. However, their contributions are rarely acknowledged. The project intends to document, acknowledge and promote their contribution to the community.
