AMCS recently celebrated two important milestones in our history. Firstly AMCS has now been supporting seniors from multicultural backgrounds for over 35 years! As well as that, it is also the 25th Anniversary of our Volunteer Programs.
The celebration took place at the very beautiful Parliament House of Victoria, where a selection of volunteers and some key staff were invited to take part. The event started primarily as the 25th Anniversary of our Volunteer Programs run by Magdalena Biadala-Sahingoez, our Team Leader of Social Support and Respite Programs. However, it provided the perfect opportunity to also recognize our 35 years of supporting seniors.
Please enjoy a selection of photos from this event, depicting the entirety of the day.
Thank you to all the staff (especially Magda) and volunteers involved in the set-up and delivery of this important event in the history of AMCS.
