On Friday 12th April the Polish Social Support Group had a beautiful day out to the Macedon Ranges. The sun was shining and the clients were able to enjoy views of the countryside change into autumn colours.
They stopped by the Mount Macedon Memorial Cross, which stands at 21 metres high and is considered one of the most significant war memorials in Victoria. It is dedicated to all those who have served in wars and conflicts.
After having some lunch, the group were off again to see the magnificent, enchanted-themed sand sculptures at Riddles Creek. Everyone had a lot of fun posing alongside the sculptures, whilst also admiring their unique, creative designs.
Social support groups are a great way to experience good company and go out for lunches and trips together where transport can be provided.
